E-mails can now be directly saved into and stored in Hyarchis.Net from Lotus
Notes. This solution has been available for Outlook for some time, but the same
facility for Lotus Notes has been developed in collaboration with VDD IQware’s
partner, Emerald Coast Software Group, to meet the increasing demand from the
market.
Lotus Notes is a client-server, Groupware application from IBM Software. In the
sphere of e-mail management combined with attachment processing, calendars,
to-do lists and planners, Lotus Notes can be compared with Microsoft Exchange.
Saving and storing e-mails from Lotus Notes into Hyarchis.Net works in the same
way as for Outlook. E-mails and attachments are automatically archived in the
inbox and outbox thanks to this solution. The automatic archiving of e-mails is
carried out based on pre-defined rules. These include the establishment of how
long e-mails are kept, whether 30 days or 30 years, and who has the right to
just read or also edit e-mails. As e-mails are archived automatically, the
possibility of them being accidentally deleted at a later stage is prevented.
